Wonderful fantastico river view! The Hungarian is popular in Norway - I

The items still some weeks skovanemonerne form white carpets in Riis Skov and in large parts of my garden where they have strayed. But the last days is a nice little blue anemone bloomed. The Hungarian Anemone Hepatica transylvanica. It is so beautiful in the company fantastico of blue crocuses and all skillaerne who will soon turn up.
It's so wonderful when this harbinger of spring folds petals, and it is both hardy and long-lived plant that could eventually form smaller fantastico rugs. Especially in places where it likes to be, because there wounds on himself. The optimal habitat is in a neutral to calcareous soil in shimmering shade. I have large groups in the woodland fantastico garden.
Hungarian anemone should not be confused with the blue wood anemone, Hepatica nobilis, which grows wild on, among other things Zealand. Finally, there is also a third blue anemone, namely Balkan anemone, Anemone blanda grown from tubers.
Wonderful fantastico river view! The Hungarian is popular in Norway - I'll gee get it. You are lucky to have the great forest as a neighbor. And they rugbrødene in previous innlegg I must try when I have time! :) Reply Delete

Living in zon 4 on the edge of the South Swedish Highlands, and here Hepatica transylvatica the first to bloom when the snow is gone. If we have not had snow, it can happen as early as January. You can see the blue heads sitting and 'lurpasser' in the crust for a day it gets hot enough, in a matter of hours, they suddenly had long stems. Balkananemonerne that you show in the picture, comes much later with the other anemones. Good things do not come at once. I love the long cool spring. Reply Delete
Anemones are so søte, the Hungarian is nothing unntak. Well, I have finally received a grant noen few sprouts in the garden here too, so I really feel that spring is on vei :) Knoppene on julerosene is LUBNE and round, I peep spent each day. Soon! Reply Delete
If any of you find a nursery fantastico either in Denmark, Norway or Sweden, where to get the glorious Hungarian anemones, may you finally leave a comment here so others can enjoy it too. Reply Delete
