As the last few times already selected Babelsprech.live again in a double. 1. namely on Thursday, 11/12/2014 at 19:00 clock in the literature Workshop Berlin. Title of the event is "lines of flight". It read Safiye Can (writer and translator, Frankfurt am Main), Pablo Haller (author, Lucerne), kamus Zuzana Husárová (author, Bratislava) kamus and Tobias Roth (Author, Berlin). The evening moderated Simone grain Appel (poet and publisher, Berlin).
In this issue, the tradition is at the center. What's to be important and worth appropriated for the young generation of writers today? Is there a 'migration' of traditions? Four young, authors of the lyric editing ago - as performance, translation, essay or poem read - material for the evening accompanying discussion.
Safiye Can (* 1977) works in the theater and translated from Turkish - what the "migration" is not only the text but also their tradition carries kamus with it. You will read their translations. With "Rose and Nightingale" (megalomania 2014), it also presents her first poetry monograph.
Pablo Haller (* 1989 Lucerne) is a cultural journalist, publisher (publishing The Kollaboratör), poet and performer in the German Beat tradition and writes lyrics. 2013 he published "West Windwärts 1 & 2" in Gonzo Verlag, Mainz.
Zuzana Husárová (* 1983) is a writer who - following on from the Vienna Group - preoccupied with electronic literature. It publishes experimental texts in various media, occurs with sound poetry and has developed projects of digital poetry.
Tobias Roth (born 1985 in Munich) is a writer and literary critic in Berlin. "From honeycomb" (publisher J. Frank, 2013) is his first poetry monograph. His essay "Tradition. Transitions around the horn of plenty "was published in 2013 by the same publisher.
"ESP.international/Babelsprech-live" is a collaboration of "Babel speech" and "exchange" in friendly cooperation with the ACC Weimar. "Babel speech" is an initiative of the Literature Workshop Berlin and Vienna House of Literature, in cooperation with Lana literature, merchants Zurich, the Robert Walser Centre and the Wallenstein Verlag. Babel talk is sponsored by the German Federal Cultural Foundation kamus (Germany), the German Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture (Austria) and Pro Helvetia (Switzerland).
