It s an annual conference open to IB staff, educators, and educational leaders from all over North, Central, typing test and South America. The conference will be held in D.C. (also home to the IB Americas Global Centre!) this year. It brings together the entire IB Americas community and allows IB educators to network, share strategies with, and learn from their peers. This year’s theme is Ways of Knowing , which should sound familiar if you took TOK!
If you re in the D.C. area, join us during the conference for an alumni mixer you ll get to meet fellow alums, network with members of the IB Americas community, and let us know what you ve been up to since graduating! Find event details here .
Featured speakers include bestselling novelist Khaled Hosseini and Andy Hargreaves, typing test a faculty chair at Boston College s Lynch School of Education. Conference participants will attend breakout sessions, which they can choose based on their educational typing test interests. Among the offerings this year are Beyond food and flags: Moving from multiculturalism to internationalism , Muslim women leaders at the frontlines of change, Faith as a way of knowing , and Project typing test worldview: Using the IB core to cultivate young researchers . Also on the schedule? A service learning event called Ways of Growing , which will focus on the topic of food security.
Alumni Relations will also be hosting a breakout session for coordinators called Life after the IB: How your graduating students can stay connected with alumni worldwide .
