atomic Board nap Need For College: UGC Universities and colleges now must ask for Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) approval for the purchase of radioactive substances, the purpose of its use, and safety of storage facilities.
University Grants Commission (UGC) officials said the commission was given to the principles of the university in the wake of the "disposal of Cobalt-60 isotope by Delhi University in a casual manner that causes the death of a human disease and many others.
