James the elder and his wife Leane living and working in Abu Dhabi and they are the parents of beau

With Nelmari now doing her Grade 12 IB exams are we sure that last very well and there will be many "remember you are" to be. Earlier this month the school was their international evening, and I was there for the last time as a parent of a school-going child. I wonder if she realizes how blessed she is / was her whole school career of KG (kindergarten) to Grade 12 school amu with. A school was now at the seams with growth of just over 20 children amu in primary school in a classroom while Nelmari's largest IB Biology class this year with 15 pupils and the smallest IB Mathematics 2 pupils.
Anyway International Evening try the 72 Nationalities in the school is little chance for their country "to show". Everyone is involved and help the young males in their country colors and color was the main course of the evening vasvatter not in vain in a Springbok shirt - what would they do without us Saffers.
The hall was packed with all the parents who come to support them. Earlier years was the two boys not even a concert of Nelmari attend - because boys and girls were separated - and now the school has separated, is almost showered extracurricular activities "normal".
Countries amu outside the stalls put up with traditional foods and everyone could touch and taste because it was obviously nothing :-). There were flags and things that are special of the country. As always, the SA stall popular with all the nice things and we also Saffers there rondgedrom to biltong, malva pudding, Bobotie, donut and mince tart, fizzers and sausage to eat. International evening yes, but with a good heart Saffer!
This should amu be very helpful for children from so many cultures to learn the right way where everyone's identity is respected. I think it is very unique. With us, they force each other's amu views on others, I think they can come and learn it! 05/05/11 19:51
I think it's Sarah and the children learn to respect others for who they are and not for what they are. It's always interesting to me to see children from countries that are constantly in "war" with each other, get along with each other. 6/5/11 23:06
