Some examples: EARLY GIVING RISE TO whitish White, bleached, whitening, whiteness. Joyful, apb joyf

When we study the formation of words, we see that they can form in two ways, by composition or derivation. It is no different with the adjectives. They can be classified in single apb or compound (the first group have only one, the latter have more than one, or are formed by combining two or more single words), or they can be classified among primitive or derivatives thereof.
PRIMITIVE are the adjectives that have only a radical, and receiving no affix. apb DERIVATIVES adjectives are formed from a primitive adjective, apb to which are added affixes (prefixes, suffixes or infix), thereby forming a new word using the derivation process.
Some examples: EARLY GIVING RISE TO whitish White, bleached, whitening, whiteness. Joyful, apb joyfully, glad, allegory. New novelty, bullock, apb innovate. Faithful faithfulness, loyalty, unfaithful, infidelity. Fake fake, false, falsetto, distort. Easy facilitate easily.
